Introduction:
Avian Enigma is a sci-fi visual novel game featuring in a world where birds have become extinct. The story begins with a young man working in a factory accidentally saves a bird. Soon, a girl who has a mysterious relationship with birds appears in front of him.
A romance with a tiny twist begins.

Scene #1: Bird vs Cats
One night, the young man discovered a bird by the trash, eating a small box of seeds. Suddenly, a few ginger cats sprang from different directions, aiming to catch the bird. The bird tried to escape, but one of the cats grabbed it, injuring its wing and making it unable to fly. The young man decided to intervene. He stood up, shouting to scare away the cats. After some effort, he chased them away and picked up the injured bird.
Scene #2: Fly to the Sky
As they rode the Ferris wheel, the young man asked about the bird he had rescued. But the girl only answered vaguely. He questioned her motives, even suspecting her of industrial espionage. As the Ferris wheel reached its peak, the girl suddenly opened the window, revealing her true nature. She lifted him effortlessly, and they soared into the night sky. The young man realized she had wings marked with eye-like patterns, identical to the bird he had rescued. They glided over the dark bay, and she gently landed him back at the amusement park entrance.
Scene #3: Reveal the Truth
In the final moment of the battle, the girl carried the young man and flee to the glass skylight, finally breaking out of the building. The girl asked if the young man wants to see her face in a closer distance.

The music in Avian Enigma is intricately tied to the narrative progression. The soundtrack features a mix of orchestral and electronic elements, combining piano, strings, and ambient sounds. It tends to evoke a range of emotions, from curiosity about the bird and a mysterious romantic date with the girl, to the intense battle with security guards and cats, and finally the terror of seeing the girl's true nature.
The sound design in Avian Enigma also employs silence and minimalism effectively. There are moments when the music fades, allowing the ambient sounds of the game world to take over. This contrast heightens the impact of the musical moments and adds to the overall sense of solitude and introspection.
